Through the rapid development of technology, we have spent more and more time on the screen. In China, people exposed themselves to we media everyday. We media has a huge influence to their daily life.
First of all, what is we media? We media refers to individual media. It means privatized, popularized, automatic transmitter. It provides a platform to citizens for spreading formal or informal information through digital forms. The most common worldwide we media platforms are Facebook, Twitter, and other new media. However, in China, most of these commonly seen platforms are banned. Instead, Chinese people have Weibo, Wechat, Tiktok and other platforms.
In China, we media has a huge impact today. According to the 2020 Tiktok statistics, Tiktok has more than 600 million active users. Furthermore, the average number of video searches per day exceeds 400 million. Can you imagine the impact beneath these statistics data?
